Even though GBI Cars are very local to me, I wasn’t really aware of them. However, after I found a car on their website that was ‘coming soon’ and matched with what I was looking for, I visited them the next day. From that point on, to me purchasing the vehicle, the whole experience was smooth and effortless.
Even though the vehicle was not yet available to view, as soon as it was, Rob contacted me immediately and we arranged a test drive. I admit that I was very wary of ‘pushy’ car dealers and garages; but there was none of this. The team, especially Rob, gave me the right info for me to make an informed decision on the purchase. The approach from those I spoke with at GBI were was very friendly, approachable and clearly passionate about what they offer to their customers.
I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

Excellent service from start to finish. Rob was totally professional throughout. He introduced himself with a warm smile and the words ‘if you need any help or wish to see inside any car, please let me know’ I was then left to look around at my own speed. No hard sale, No pushy salesman just a real pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble, offered refreshments and even my partner was allowed to use the toilet. We travelled from Enfield to GBI Cars in Leighton Buzzard to buy a 3 year old Seat Arona, having seen the car advertised on Autotrader. All the cars are also AA inspected. It was absolutely well worth the trip, twice ! From the moment we entered the premises we felt comfortable and at ease. Not something we have always experienced in car sales. Rob Benton was so professional, honest , not pushy and a genuinely likeable man. We went on a test drive with Rob sitting in the back and it was not just round the corner and back, it was a very generous drive, with me actually suggesting that we had better return to the garage. Everywhere was so clean and tidy and all the cars were immaculately presented. Our car had been valeted on the day we arrived to collect it and the whole experience was just perfect from start to finish. We completed the sale on the second visit and said goodbye to our old car. We were told exactly what we needed to do and bring on our second visit and I cannot praise this family run business enough. I will have no hesitation in recommending this business to family and friends and we would indeed return to GBI in the future should we need to replace our car.

I cannot recommend Rob and GBI cars highly enough. They were fantastic throughout the process. Rob understood what I was after and the budget I had in mind and suggested a perfect car for me. I felt under no pressure at all to spend more money. The car looked amazing when I collected it. Within a few weeks of having the car it developed a minor oil leak. Rob got it booked on at their garage and it was sorted within an hour free of charge. Brilliant customer service.

Gary was extremely friendly and helpful, along with being knowledgeable about the car we were interested in.
The car was in impeccable condition, and matched what was on the website exactly, so there were no hidden surprises.
We went on a decent length test drive and at no time felt pressured, there was absolutely no hard sell of either the car or any extras, which really was much appreciated, and a small deposit secured the car for us.

After hiring a Nissan Qashqai, I was keen to buy a late used version of the same car, so I searched on Autotrader to see what was available. GBI’s advert really stood out and was fully backed up by the information on their own website.
As I’m usually a bit sceptical about motor dealers and didn’t want to waste a journey, I took Rob up on his offer to reserve the car for 48 hours before viewing. I’m pleased to say that seeing the vehicle in person confirmed everything I’d read online, and I was happy to go ahead and place the order straight away.

I’m really happy to write this review. Credit where credit’s due and all that.
I know it’s 2026 and things should be different, but as a lone woman buying a car, all the clichés passed through my head, am I doing the right thing? will they be trustworthy? will I be confident in my purchase? Will I feel pressurised? Will they just be out to make a sale? Etc.
I even spoke about it to my friends and it seems all that stuff is still sadly real for a lot of women making a big purchase.
Anyway, I needn’t have worried.
The service from start to finish at GBI was AMAZING.
The staff, all men, were super nice, empathetic and approachable and no question was too ridiculous. They make a good cup of tea too!

I just felt looked after.
It was such a good experience, it’s a small family business with a really good set up. They have some lovely cars and a great in house staff making sure every vehicle is top notch.

Was recommended to to try GBI Cars by a family member. It turned to be a great decision. I didn’t have my heart set on a particular car in advance, so it was great to visit a local business with a good selection. Rob was very helpful throughout the process without being at all pushy.
